Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa is a distinguished agribusiness advocate and innovator, known for leading transformative agricultural projects that impact farmers, women, youth , persons with disabilities and marginalized groups across Africa.
As the Founder and Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, National Chapter President for the World Food Forum–Ghana, Alberta champions market development, capacity building and inclusive growth within the agricultural sector.

Dr. Osei-Asare is a highly experienced Agricultural Economist and Impact Assessment Specialist with over 20 years in development economics, agribusiness research, and project management.
His work covers a broad range of areas including agricultural commodity value chains, food security, climate change, agricultural finance, and impact evaluation.
He has conducted economic and social impact assessments (ESIA) across several West African nations, including Liberia, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, and Ghana. Dr. Osei-Asare has partnered with international organizations such as the FAO, World Bank, UNDP, USAID, and AGRA, and has published over 55 peer-reviewed journal articles. His expertise extends to large-scale surveys in cocoa, cashew, mango, and maize value chains.
Currently, he is the Head of the Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness Department at the University of Ghana, where he also mentors students and professionals. He participates in the Kosmos Innovation Centre-University of Ghana AgriTech Challenge and is a certified PRINCE2® foundation specialist.

Alhaji Moro Akakade is the President of the Ghana Livestock Breeders and Traders Association (GLIBTA) and the Ghana Federation of Livestock Inter-Professionals (GHAFLIP), with nearly four decades of experience in the livestock sector as both a farmer and trader.
He also serves as the President of the West African Association for Cross-Border Trade in Agro-forestry-pastoral and Fisheries Products (WACTAF).
Alhaji Akakade has attended several international conferences, including the Turkish African Economic Conference and the Halal Conference on Livestock and Meat.
He is known for his contributions to improving the sector, such as leading efforts to curb road harassment, reducing import fees for livestock, fencing the Ashaiman cattle market and introducing IF cards for traders and breeders. Alhaji Akakade has trained hundreds of individuals in livestock management, record-keeping, and cattle fattening, and is a founding member of WACTAF.

Dr. Solomon Gyan Ansah is the Director of Crop Services at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture, overseeing key units such as Seed Research, Food Crops, Horticulture and Land Management. With a PhD in Plant Breeding, he previously served as Deputy Director and Head of Seed Research.
Dr. Ansah is involved in several national councils and committees, including the National Seed Council and the Cocoa Research Institute of Ghana and played a key role in developing the National Rice Development Strategy II and advocating for the Plant Variety Protection Act, 2020.
His expertise covers seed industry business, crop breeding, agricultural extension, and seed regulation.

With 27 years of experience, he has handled various portfolios, including health and gender reporting, and is a member of the company’s Editorial Board. Dery is an award-winning journalist who won the prestigious Dag Hammarskjöld Fellowship in 1998, reporting from the UN Headquarters in New York and Washington, D.C., where he filed over 100 stories in just three months. He has also covered high-profile events like the Indiana State Presidential Primaries in 2016, as one of a select group of global journalists invited by the US Foreign Press Center.
Dery has extensive international experience, reporting from countries such as the US, China, Israel, Australia, Germany, and Turkey. A graduate of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, he holds an MA in Communication Studies from the University of Cape Coast and has attended numerous short courses locally and abroad. Throughout his career, Dery has demonstrated exceptional versatility, excelling in both local and international journalism across diverse topics, earning him recognition from the Ghana Journalists Association.

Theresa Poku is a farmer, businesswoman, and mentor specializing in pineapple production. She is the Managing Director of Ohu Farms Limited, which she founded in 2018 in Nsawam, Eastern Region, Ghana.
After learning that the area had once been a thriving pineapple hub providing jobs for the youth, she decided to transition to pineapple farming with the vision of revitalizing the industry and offering employment opportunities.
Through Ohu Farms, she employs local youth and women, aiming to help them get off the streets and into meaningful agricultural work, while creating a positive impact in the community.

Colby Coash is a former Nebraska State Senator with eight years of experience, now speaking nationally on employee engagement, performance coaching, communication and leadership.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Leadership Education and lobbies for elected officials to support public education.
Colby is an adjunct faculty member at the Bryan College of Health Sciences and frequently appears in regional and national movies and commercials. Originally from rural Nebraska, he now lives in Lincoln with his wife and teenage son.

Barima Owoahene Acheampong Sarpong Ii is a multifaceted entrepreneur with experience in manufacturing, agriculture, real estate, and natural resources research. He is also a published author, a leader in the Church of Pentecost (COP) Business Network, and a procurement consultant with extensive experience managing public projects funded by the World Bank, African Development Bank, and UN-World Food Programme.

Justin T. Wayne is a member of the Nebraska State Senate, representing 13 District. He assumed office on January 4, 2017. His current term ends on January 8, 2025.
Wayne ran for re-election to the Nebraska State Senate to represent District 13. He won in the general election on November 3, 2020.
Wayne was the Subdistrict 4 member of the Omaha Board of Education in Nebraska.
He ran unopposed and won re-election by default in the general election on November 4, 2014. Wayne was first elected to the board in 2010.
While the school board is nonpartisan, Wayne is a Democrat. Wayne resigned from the board in January 2017 to join the State Senate.
