Who We Are
The Ghana-Nebraska Agribusiness Growth and Trade Relations Chamber (GNEBCham) is a partnership between Nebraska Agribusinesses and Ghanaian partners to create an environment where Agribusiness and Trade can thrive between Ghanaians, Nebraskans and beyond.
The Chamber is a non-for-profit organization, established in 2023, as a joint venture between Ghana and Nebraska public and private sector officials to strengthen, encourage, promote, foster and facilitate agribusiness trade relations between Ghana and Nebraska
How We Operate
Under a conducive business environment, committed and progressive government-private sector participation, political stability, transparent regulations, a thriving agribusiness sector and favorable economic environments, the Chamber is strategically positioned and operates as a non-profit agribusiness entity, under the legislative laws of Ghana and the State of Nebraska – USA.
The Chamber has an active running Secretariat, both in Ghana and in Nebraska.

Our Mission
To support both Ghana and Nebraskan Agribusinesses, in their international outreach, creating business opportunities, trade relations, cooperation and strategic alliances.
The chamber also focuses on promoting agribusiness, import and export exchanges of both Ghana and Nebraska products and services.
The primary objectives GNEBCham are as follows:
- To help boost and facilitate growth in Agribusiness and Trade among members
- To increase job opportunities
- Facilitate International Trade, Agribusiness opportunities and investments
- To encourage an orderly expansion of all Agribusiness segments in the Agricultural value chain through Innovation and Technology
- To facilitate Educational outreach and consultancies among Nebraskan and Ghanaians.
- To contribute to the overall economic and social stability of our member communities.
- To encourage and promote private enterprise sector of competitive marketing
The Chamber aims to work to strengthen and advance relationships, by putting two worlds, face to face to champion activities centered on:
- Education, Curriculum strategy development and exchange programs.
- Accelerating Hot and trendy products for export, trade and transactions.
- Finding opportunities of putting buyers and suppliers together, with a primary focus on meeting standards, value and volumes.
- Connecting suppliers with viable market opportunities.
- Create and grow specialized and innovative training activities for defined groups within the agribusiness chain Farm management and recruitment activities.
- IT and Technology transfer, work, exchange, business representation and transaction opportunities Educational outreach and exchange.
- Facilitating market entry support.
- Organization of trade fairs. Exhibitions and other Agribusiness-related events.
- Facilitating of exchange programs among members and interested parties.
- Promote the sharing of smart Agribusiness innovation and Technology among members.
- Promoting procurement opportunities within members.
- Hosting and organizing trade and Agribusiness investment delegations.
- Monitoring the legislative and regulatory environment on trade and Agribusiness.
- Advocacy and Seminars on policies that impact the Agribusiness climate.
- Representation to government agencies on behalf of members.
- Conducting economic and business surveys for the benefit of members.
- Dissemination of trade and Agribusiness-related information.
- AfCFTA- Knowledge dissemination on implementation of African Continental Free Trade Agreement for International business.
- The Chamber will establish an AGOA Help Desk to assist member companies to take advantage of opportunities that exist through the AGOA legislation.
